Why people shop for a Jobber alternative

These points come from Jobber’s own pricing page, not from complaints we collected.

If none of that bothers you, Jobber is still a reasonable choice. See Jobber pricing and Jobber vs Housecall Pro.

FAQ

Is there a free Jobber alternative? Yes. ServiceM8’s Free plan covers 1 user and 30 new jobs a month, with quoting, invoicing, and scheduling. Connecteam is free for up to 10 users, but it doesn’t do quotes or invoices.

What’s cheapest for a big crew? Tools that don’t charge per user. GorillaDesk (unlimited users, priced per route) and ServiceM8 (unlimited users on paid plans, priced per job volume) don’t add cost as you hire.

Which alternatives sync with QuickBooks Online? Housecall Pro (Essentials and up), GorillaDesk (Pro and up), and ServiceM8 (every plan; Xero is also listed). Jobber lists it from Connect.

Can I move my data off Jobber? GorillaDesk lists free data migration. The other pricing pages don’t describe migration, so ask the vendor before you switch.

Is Housecall Pro cheaper than Jobber? For one person, no: Jobber Core is $29/mo billed annually, and Housecall Pro Basic is $59/mo. With 5 users, Housecall Pro Essentials ($149/mo billed annually) includes all 5. Compare plan by plan in Jobber vs Housecall Pro.
